L6 Diploma in Management

The ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Management was developed in 2016 with support and feedback from UK universities.

The ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Management (Postgraduate MBA Entry) is 9 Month programme. The qualification delivers the skills, knowledge and understanding that are required by learners aspiring to roles in business and administrative management in different sectors on a domestic and international platform.
This ultimate undergraduate level award and has been expressly designed to provide equivalent learning to that provided by a British university bachelor’s degree programme in management and will be most suited to individuals who have some managerial work experience and do not have a degree but wish to study for an MBA or Postgraduate business programme.The Diploma in Management typically takes 9 months of full-time study to achieve and prepares learners for a range of careers.

Mode of Assessment

LWC encourages using a range of assessment vehicles that will engage learners and give them an opportunity to both demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of a topic and to evaluate how they might apply that knowledge in a given context. We recommend avoiding essay writing and that more varied types of assessment are included.
This might include assessment through:
• a research activity resulting in the compilation of a report
• an academic paper or article for publication
• the compilation of a case studies
• a critical review and evaluation of a chosen company’s policies, procedures and systems
• a set project completed for an employer (also known as an ‘employer-engagement’ activity)
• the production of a portfolio of evidence relating to a particular unit.

The Diploma in Management is on the Register of Regulated Qualifications. They have a Qualification Accreditation Number (QAN). This number will appear on the learner’s final certification documentation. Each unit within a qualification also has a code.
